A bit of Autumn Fun

Hi Friends! Life has been a bit wild but that wasn’t going to stop me from making it a little fun for Landon. I wanted to share a fun Spooky Jar you can create for your kiddos but before I do I wanted to share some pictures from the month.

We also finally got around to decorating the front porch a little. It is really joyful to watch Landon get curious about pumpkins and plants.

A Spooky Jar

So with Halloween just around the corner I wanted to do something fun that wasn’t going to take too much time and cost too much. Since Landon is still only 17 months, I didn’t want to create anything that would scare him so I thought making him a Spooky Jar was just perfect.

What you need:

  • Big Clear Jar
  • Peeps Candy (I picked Ghosts and the Frankenstein Monsters)
  • Your favorite cookies

All I did to make the jar was take the Peeps Candy and line it up around the jar, for my size jar it took about 4 packages for each row. Once I had the row, I alternated with the other design on top of it and continued that way. A little tip is to squish the Peeps a bit as you can setting them in (I have a little reel on Instagram @maneeshasullivan). Once it was complete I just filled the jar with cookies for everyone to enjoy.

Landon absolutely loved the jar, he kept pointing at it and smiling. I highly recommend making this for your kiddos. Let me know if you end up trying this, you can customize it with different Peeps which is so fun! Xo!
