Hi friends! As we get closer and closer to labor I wanted to put together nurses baskets for the hospital staff. The nurses and staff at the hospital and my doctor’s office have been incredible and they do so much to make sure you are safe and comfortable during your time there. During my pregnancy I did spend a few hours at Labor and Delivery and the team there is so caring. We wanted to a way to say “Thank you” for all that they do.
I filled the basket with mostly blue items since we are having a baby boy! My doctor told me who would be taking care of me , so I was able to personalize the baskets to the nurses who will be there. I created two baskets, one for the day shift and one for the night shift for my stay there. Both baskets have the same items, that way anyone can grab out of those baskets and there are plenty of items.
When putting the baskets together, I wanted to focus on getting them items they would benefit from but also something to make them feel good. I picked items such as snacks, coffee, and beauty items. See below for what I included in the baskets.
I can’t wait to meet our little baby boy! I hope our nurses feel a little love and appreciation while we are there. Hopefully this post helped you come up with some ideas on what to put in your baskets if you are creating them. I love being able to be creative with gifts, this was so much fun!
